The Young Engineers' Quality Management System has been certified by Det Norske Veritas Certification, Inc. (DNV) to ISO9001:2000 and EN/JISQ/AS9100:2004 for the design and manufacture of precision components and specialty fastening products for the aerospace industry. Our quality system has likewise been approved by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and we have Technical Standard Order (TSO) C148 authorization on all applicable fastening products. We are also on the U.S Defense Logistics Agency's Qualified Suppliers List for Manufacturers (QSLM) for Class 3 Threaded Fasteners (Cage Code 56958), and are one of only a select few companies in the world that has Nadcap Fastener Manufacturer accreditation. Our extensive listing of customer approvals reads like a Who's Who of the aircraft/aerospace industry. We are an approved source of supply to nearly all commercial, regional and corporate aircraft manufacturers, in addition to our approvals with various helicopter manufacturers and MRO facilities.


In addition to our company’s continuous improvement activities, members of our Management team have served as advisors and/or board members on various technical boards, including such well respected organizations as the Aerospace Fastener Standards Advisory Committee (AFSAC), the Aircraft Locknut Manufacturers Association (ALMA), the Industrial Fasteners Institute (IFI), Nadcap, and the National Aerospace Standards Committee (NASC) to the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA). We have also worked closely with the FAA and other industry groups in the development of TSO C148 for fasteners, and with Nadcap on the development of a fastener manufacturing approval process. We continuously work with various OEM’s on the development and refinement of aircraft fasteners, and have introduced numerous novel fasteners to the industry in recent years, including, but not limited to the following:

• A full line of fastener products manufactured from high-strength composites (thermoplastics)
• Fasteners for honeycomb panels as thin as 0.125” (3.2mm)
• Floating nut fasteners with dual, independent floating nuts
• The Loret Isolator Insert™: a range of patented fasteners that incorporate
an elastomeric isolation device into a panel fastener
• The Loret Latches™: a range of patented, highly customizable and aesthetically
unique high-end latches
